Saturn (Shani) is the slowest-moving visible planet, spending about two and a half years in each sign. It represents karma, discipline and responsibility, longevity, hard work and justice. It rules Capricorn and Aquarius and is exalted in Libra.

Saturn is known for Sade Sati, its seven-and-a-half-year transit over the Moon sign — a period of lessons, responsibility and, often, lasting achievement.
