Mount of Jupiter Meaning

The mount of Jupiter is the raised pad below the index finger. It represents ambition, leadership, wisdom, religion and self-confidence.

Well-developed mount

A firm, well-raised mount of Jupiter shows a natural leader who is confident, generous, ambitious and respected. Such people often do well in teaching, politics, law, administration and religious work.

Over-developed mount

A very large mount can show pride, a desire to dominate and arrogance.

Flat or under-developed mount

A flat mount shows a lack of confidence and ambition, or a preference for staying in the background.

Signs on the mount

  • Star: great success and fame.
  • Cross: a happy marriage, traditionally.
  • Ring of Solomon: wisdom and interest in occult studies.
  • Square: protection and good teaching ability.
