Influence lines
Lines starting on the mount of Venus and crossing the life line show the influence of family members or others on a person's life, often linked with stress or obligations.
Worry lines
Many fine horizontal lines across the life line show a tendency to worry or periods of stress.
Rising branches
Lines rising upwards from the life line are positive. A branch rising to the mount of Jupiter shows ambition fulfilled; one rising towards Saturn shows effort rewarded; one rising towards the Sun shows success and recognition.
Falling branches
Downward branches show periods when energy was low, often during busy or difficult phases.
