Salt bowls
Place small bowls of sea salt or rock salt in the corners of rooms, especially in the south-west or in areas that feel heavy. Replace the salt every week and flush the old salt away.
Salt water mopping
Add a handful of sea salt to the water used for mopping floors, once or twice a week. Avoid doing this on Thursdays, according to tradition. Many families find the house feels lighter after salt mopping.
Salt in the bathroom
A bowl of salt in the bathroom absorbs negativity, especially if the toilet is in a defective direction.
Salt bath
A bath with a little sea salt in the water is a traditional way to feel refreshed after a stressful day or a visit to a hospital.
Important
Do not reuse salt from cleansing for cooking. Keep the salt in glass or ceramic bowls, not plastic.
