Extensions and Cuts in the House Shape

Good extensions

• North-east extension: considered very auspicious, linked with growth and prosperity.
• North or east extension (towards the north-east): generally good.

Extensions to avoid

• South-west, south-east and north-west extensions are linked with imbalance in finances, health or relationships.

Cuts

• North-east cut: the most serious, linked with lack of growth and health issues.
• South-west cut: linked with instability and problems for the head of the family.
• South-east cut: linked with health and money issues, especially for women.
• North-west cut: linked with relationship and support problems.

Remedies

• Use mirrors to visually extend a north or east cut.
• Complete the missing corner with a wall, fence, plants or lighting outside.
• Place a Vaastu pyramid or metal strip as advised by a consultant.
