Chhattisgarh is a state from east India which war earlier part of Madhya Pradesh before year 2000. This state has been center of education during Vedic time and currently the stat which is growing fast. Lord Rama is the very important here interms of significance. During 14 years of Vanabas, Lord Rama stayed in various places in today’s Chhattisgarh. Specially Dandakarayna is the place where Lord Rama stayed most with Sita and brother Lakshmana. Lord Rama also visited Shivrinarayan which was named from Shabari. Is located in Bilaspur district here. We can see many celebrations from Odissa has become part of this state.
There are many festivals celebrated here including most significant festivals are Bastar Dussehra which is known as Durga Puja in West Bengal, Bastat Lokotsav, Madai Festival. Pekhanjore Mela which is also known ad Nara Narayan Mela and Rajim Kumbh Mela is also important in this state of India
