Best entrance position
Divide the east wall into nine parts. The padas of Jayanta, Mahendra and Surya, in the middle to north part of the wall, are excellent. Avoid the extreme south-east corner for the door.
Layout tips
- Large windows on the east side to let in morning sunlight.
- Living room or drawing room in the north-east or east.
- Kitchen in the south-east.
- Master bedroom in the south-west.
- Keep the east side lower and lighter than the west.
What to avoid
- Tall trees or buildings that block morning light
- Toilets in the north-east
- Heavy storage on the east wall
