Road Facing and T Junction Plots Veedhi Shoola

A road that ends directly at a plot, forming a T-junction, is called Veedhi Shoola in Vaastu. It creates a strong, direct force towards the house.

Good and bad Veedhi Shoolas

  • Favourable: a road hitting the north side of the north-east, the east side of the north-east, the north side of the north-west or the east side of the south-east.
  • Unfavourable: roads hitting the south-west, the west side of the north-west, the south side of the south-east and similar positions.

Effects

An unfavourable Veedhi Shoola is traditionally linked with accidents, quarrels, health problems and losses, while a favourable one is linked with growth and fame.

Remedies

  • Plant a row of tall trees or build a wall to block the road's direct force.
  • Avoid placing the main gate directly in line with the road.
  • Place a Vaastu pyramid, a Ganesha idol or a convex mirror facing the road.
  • Use the affected area for a garden or open space rather than a bedroom.
