Best walls for mirrors
Place mirrors on the north or east walls. These directions are linked with wealth and growth, and a mirror there is believed to increase both.
Where to avoid mirrors
- On the south or west walls, where they can reflect away stability.
- Facing the bed; a mirror reflecting a sleeping person is linked with disturbed sleep and relationship issues.
- Directly facing the main door, which pushes incoming energy back out.
- Facing each other, which creates restless, endless reflections.
Helpful mirror placements
- Near the locker or cash box, so it reflects wealth.
- In the dining room, reflecting the table and food, as a sign of abundance.
- To visually extend a cut corner in the north or east.
Shape and condition
Square and rectangular mirrors are best. Avoid broken, cracked, blurred or very old mirrors — replace them immediately. Keep mirrors clean, and mount them at a height where they do not cut off the head of the tallest family member.
