The four corner plots
- North-east corner plot: roads on the north and east. The best corner plot, linked with wealth, health and growth.
- North-west corner plot: roads on the north and west. Good for business and trade.
- South-east corner plot: roads on the south and east. Acceptable with careful planning.
- South-west corner plot: roads on the south and west. Needs the most care; build heavily in the south-west and keep the north-east open.
Planning tips
- Place the main entrance in the most auspicious pada available on either road.
- Keep more open space on the north and east sides.
- Build a higher, thicker compound wall on the south and west.
Advantages of corner plots
Corner plots get more light and air and allow two entrances. For commercial use, they offer great visibility, which is why shops and showrooms often prefer them.
