Before entering the Bollywood Gayatri Joshi was a wellknown face of television with the ad films and print media before completing her school. She came from modelling background and contested for the Femina Miss India in 1999 and appeared in the music video called Kaghaz Ki Kasthi. Later in 2004 she made her debut in Bollywood with Swadesh which got critic s acclamation. She was born on 20 th March, 1974 in Nagpur to Ramniwas Ji Runthala and Hema Milani who studied in Mount Carmel High School and Sydenham College. She is married to Vikas Oberoi and has two children.
