Her debut film was Desh Pardes in 1978 which gave her the limelight. She admitted that her role in tha film Adhikar was her best till date. Her last film was Jigarwalla. She is the chairperson of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. She served for the advisory board of National Gallery of Modern Art and established Harmony for Silvers Foundation. She is the chairperson of CSR, Reliance Group.
