She is known for her regional films and made her debut in Hindi movie as child artist in Ek Chadar Maili Si in 1986 and in Sanam Harjai as lead actor in 1995. She married to Deepaka and has two children. She made her debut in television with Simran Thirai in 2008. She became popular with Superhit Muquabla as a host in 1995. She has been involved with the advertisement world in Fanta, PepsiCo, Coca Cola etc.
