Born on 26 th Jan, 1968 as Ravi Shankar Raju Bhupatiraju, Ravi is one of the famous actors of Telugu film with more than 60 and counting. He did his schooling from N.S.Public School and graduated from Siddhartha College in Arts, Vijaywada. His parents are Raj Gopal and Rajya Lakshmi. He is married to Kalyani Teja and has a son. He debuted from Karthavyam and assisted in some films. He received Nandi Award for Nee Kosam (debut as lead) and Neninthe in 1999 and 2008. Sindhooram won the National Award for best film. He became 50 th celebrity list of Forbes.
