National award winning actress Kalki Koechlin was born on 10 th Jan, 1984 in Pududherry to Joel Koechlin and Francoise Armandie. She studied from Hebron School and studied drama from University of London. Before joining film industry she worked with theatre group called Theatre of Relativity. Her debut film was DevD which gave her Filmfare award. She is involved with various social groups like PETA, LGBT rights, and also adopted a cat called Dosa. She was married to Anurag Kashyap. Some of her works are Margarita with a straw, Gully Boy, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Made in Heaven etc.
