Sundar Chatterjee aka Dhritiman an Indian and Bengali film and theatre artist was born on 30 th May, 1945 in Kolkata. He studied from St. Xavier s School and Presidency College and also from Delhi School of Economics. He was recognised by Satyajit Ray and casted him in his film Pratidyandi in 1970 and is working with his son on the project Prof. Sonku O El Dorado. He also worked in the advertising field and documentary films. His Hindi film career started from Black in 2005. Some of his English projects are Holy Smoke, The Man Who Knew Infinity, Captain (Malayalam) etc.
