Vedic astrology is one of the oldest systems for understanding a person’s life through the sky. Your birth chart is a map of where each planet stood at the moment you were born.
The chart is divided into 12 houses, and each house represents a part of life such as health, marriage, career or family. The nine grahas (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu) each carry their own qualities, and the house and sign they occupy shape how that part of life unfolds.
Each report weighs the strength of the planets involved, the yogas (planetary combinations) they form and the dasha (planetary period) you are running now, the same factors an astrologer looks at.
