Kaalsarpa Yoga is a very commonly understood term among the Indian masses. This word creates a sense of terror. It is also considered as highly inauspicious in the Vedic Astrology. When all the planets fall between the planet Rahu and the planet Ketu then Kaal Sarp Yoga is created.

Rahu is considered as the head of the snake, and ‘sarpa’ means “snake”. ‘Kaal’ means death. Hence the formation of the name of this rare yoga is formed.

If all the planets are placed on the same side of the planet Rahu and planet Ketu, then it is considered as a complete Kaal Sarp Yoga and it is also very inauspicious. If any planet falls on the other side, then the Kaal Sarp Yoga becomes partial and its negative effects tend to reduce.

But many astrologers argue that Kaal Sarp Yoga is a manifestation of the imagination and it doesn’t exist. They claim that there is no mention of this powerful Yoga in the ancient Hindu scriptures. On the other hand, few also said that there is no mention of the Kaal Sarpa Yoga in the ancient scriptures.
