The conjunction of the Moon and Mars forms the Chandra Mangal Yoga, which tends to bring a number of favourable effects.

- If you are a woman, you may display tomboyish traits and mannerisms typically associated with boys.
- You could be prone to visible emotional outbursts in front of others.
- An unpredictable disposition can make it hard for others to read your true feelings.
- Stubbornness may keep you from admitting mistakes even when you know you're wrong.
Who Wins the Conjunction
Mars tends to dominate the Moon and Mars conjunction due to its fiery nature. Since the Moon is considered gentle and meek, it struggles to assert itself, and Mars typically ends up subjugating it.
Dignity and Strength
- Aries, Leo, Sagittarius and Pisces – The Moon and Mars exist in harmony, bringing beneficial results.
- Scorpio and Capricorn – Mars proves stronger as the Moon is considered weak here.
- Cancer – Mars sits in a debilitated state, which affects the Moon despite it being in its own sign.
- Taurus and Libra – The conjunction may fail to produce any noticeable result at all.
- Gemini and Virgo – Both planets are weak here, leading to serious consequences.
- Aquarius – This conjunction may produce fairly derogatory results.
The Chandra Mangal Yoga formed by this conjunction tends to bring a wide range of results depending on the sign involved.
