Who Wins the Conjunction
Ketu tends to win the Mercury-Ketu Conjunction, since Mercury's neutral nature is easily overridden. Ketu imposes itself on Mercury's good traits, its typical malefic behaviour, so Mercury's positive effects end up tempered by Ketu's influence.
Dignity and Strength
- Aries - this conjunction tends to be beneficial in the technical field.
- Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, and Libra - results tend to be good, since Mercury sits in a friendly or exalted state.
- Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Pisces - excellent outcomes are common for the mystical side of life.
- Cancer - this conjunction tends to be fruitful for a career in healthcare.
- Leo - you may be blessed with real creativity, useful in your professional life.
- Capricorn - success in law or government work is common here.
- Aquarius - this placement can help you break into research, especially with a large organisation.
Conclusion
Because Ketu acts on a neutral planet like Mercury, the Mercury-Ketu Conjunction tends to produce quite varied results depending on the details of your chart.
