- Birth number (Mulank) – the digits of your birth day added to a single digit.
- Destiny number (Bhagyank) – all the digits of your full date of birth added to a single digit.
- Mobile and house numbers – their digits (and letters, for flats like B-704) are added to a root number.
- Business names – calculated with the Chaldean letter values.
- A number suits you when its ruling planet is the same as, or a friend of, the planets of your birth and destiny numbers (1 Sun, 2 Moon, 3 Jupiter, 4 Rahu, 5 Mercury, 6 Venus, 7 Ketu, 8 Saturn, 9 Mars).
