He is married fro Jalpa Khedekar and has two children. Before his Bollywood debut Sachin was acting in theatres from Vidhilikhit in 1985 and then moved to television in 1995 from Imtihaan. He acted in Tamil, Marathi, Telugu and Malayalam languages. He won two Filmfare awards and a state award for Ghara Baher. He married Jalpa Khedekar and has two children. His notable performances are in Astitva, Rustam and Singham.
