Ravindra Jain the blind music composer and maestro was born on 28 th Feb, 1944 in Aligarh to Kiran and Pt. Indramani Jain. He married Divya Jain and they have a child. Jain died on 9 th Oct, 2015. He used to sing Bhajans from the very young age under G.L.Jain, Janardhan Sharma and Nathuram. His Bollywood debut was from the film Saudagar after recording for All India Radio in Kolkata. Some of his favourits are Ram Teri Ganga maili, Vivah, Geet Gata Chal. He gave his compositions to Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil and Malayalm films. He received Padma Shri in 2015.
