The villain of Hindi film industry Prem Chopra was born on 23 rd Sept, 1935 in Punjab to parents Rooprani and Ranbirlal Chopra. He married Uma Chopra and has three children. He studied from Punjab University. He has a biography called Prem Naam Hai Mera by Rakita Nanda released, 2014. He appeared in more than 400 films for 60 years. His debut films were Hum Hindustani and Chaudhary karnail Singh as a lead actor, 1960. He won the Legend of Indian Cinema, 2004 at Atlantic City and best actor in supporting role for Do Anjane, 1976 and Honorary Citizenship from Chicago Mayor.
