Mostly known for his comic characters and character roles in comedy films like Chupke Chupke, Padosan, Namak Halal, Shaarabi etc, Om Prakash Chibber was born on 19 th Dec, 1919 in Jammu and Kashmir. Though his schooling and college was not known he started his career with All India Radio from 1937 as Fateh Din and later got his debut as actor in Daasi and as a villain in the film lakhpati. He has 307 films in his career. He also produced many films like Jahan Ara and Sanjog. He died on 21 st Feb, 1998 of heart attack.
