Cancer survivor Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala was born on 16 th Aug, 1970 to parents Prakash and Sushma Koirala. she studied from Army Public School and new York university. She debuted from the film Saudagar, 1991 and a Nepali film Pheri Bhetaula in 1989. She was married to Samrat Dahal. She was honoured with order of Gorkha Dakshina Bahu in 2001. She was the UNFPA goodwill ambassador in 1999 and again in 2015. She co-wrote the book called Healed. She won many Filmfare awards and Dadasaheb Phalke as the Versatile Actress in 2018 and again in 2017 for being brave and beautiful.
