Karthik Sivakumar aka Karthik or Karthi is an Indian actor better recognized in the Tamil films was born on 25 th May, 1977 in Chennai to Sivakumar and lakshmi. He studied from Padma Sheshadri bala Bhavan and Crescent Engineering College with a mechanical engineering degree and also Birmingham University. He married Ranjini Chinnaswamy and has a child. He started with assistant director in the film Ayitha Ezhuthu. He adopted a tiger cub from vandalur Zoo. He received award from the Filmfare for Paruthiveeran. His latest releases are Dev and Kaithi. He has charitable trust called Makkal Nala Mandram.
