Popular from her films as child artist, Amrita was born on 12 th May, 1987 in Jaipur to Dr. Prakash Bakshi. She studied from Mumbai University in Business Administration. She acted first at the age of four in an ad film. Her debut film as Mili in Tum Bin in 2001 as child artist and got many award nominations. At the age of 16 she debuted as lead in a Malayalam film Manjupoloru Penkutty but came into limelight from the film Vivah as Choti and in television seires Shakti as Jasleen. Some of her works are Mahakali, Akbar Birbal, CID, Smriti etc.
