Born on 15 th March, 1976 in Mumbai to parents Ajit and Usha Deol, Abhay is the Indian film actor nick named Dimpy. He dropped out of University of Mumbai and went to The City College New York. His debut film was Socha Na Tha in 2005 and also acted in DevD which was praised by the critics. But he got the eye of the Indian audience for the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 2011 which was commercially successful. He owns the production house called Forbidden Films. He won Annual Central European Bollywood Awards for Manorama-Six Feet Under in 2007.
