Vinod Mehra started his acting career as a child artist in 1950 s, but started his actual career from the film Ek Thi Rita. He was born on 13 th Feb, 1945 to parents Parameshwari Das and Kamala Mehra in Amritsar. He did his schooling from Sacred Heart Boys School and holds bachelor s degree from St. Xavier s College, Mumbai. He died at the age of 45 on 30 th Oct, 1990. He is survived with two children and wife Kiran. He produced a film named Gurudev in 1993. His greatest films are Amar Prem, Anuraag, Nagin, Bemisal and many more.
