Son of Dara Singh and Surjit randhwa, Vindu was born on 6 th May, 1964 in Mumbai. He is married to Dina Umarova and has a child. He debuted from the film Karan in 1994 but is the winner of Big Boss 2009 and was named as Bada Dilwala. He was also seen in Punjabi films also like Lion of Punjab, Jatt James Bond etc. He played Hanuman in the television series Jai Veer Hanuman and hosted the show called Welcome. He lend his voice to Frozone of The Incredibles. He did some commercials and appeared in several reality shows.
