The son of late Raj Kumar and Gayatri, Pururava Pandit aka Puru Rajkumar was born on 30 th March, 1973 in Mumbai. He studied Economics, Theatre and Psychology from Gettysburg College. He married Koraljka Grdak. His debut film was Raghuvanshi (never released) and then Nechcha Aasman as lead in 1996. But he is better known for his negative charaters that he played in Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain which remained his best work, then Mission Kashmir and Umrao Jaan. Some of his films are Raghuvanshi, Sarhad, Aap Jaisa Koi Nehi, Desh etc.
