The real name of Priyamani is Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer or named Pillu, who was born on 4 th June, 1984 in Kerala to Vasudev Iyer and Lathamani. She studied from Sri Aurobindo Memorial School and Bishop Cotton Women s College. She married Mustafa Raj. She began her career as model for various sarees from her school days. Later she debuted from the film Evare Atagaadu. She won national award and Filmfare for Paruthiveeran. Some of her works include Thirakkatha, Raam, Vishnuvardhana, Chaarulatha etc. She is an animal lover and is a polyglot. She also appeared in various television shows as judge.
