Her full name is Jasmine Mary Joseph was born on 15 th Feb, 1982 in Kerala. Meera s parents are Joseph and Aleyamma. She studied at Marthoma Residential School and studied Zoology from Assumption College. She had debuted in Malayalam film Soothradharan but her best film could be considered till date is Kasthooriman in 2003 where she won the Filmfare award. She also won National film award for Paadam Onnu in 2004 abd the list is endless. She also did films in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Her best films are Paadam Onnu, Ore Kadal, Calcutta News etc.
