Bina Rai, also known as Beena Roy was Bollywood actress of the black and white era. She is famous for her dazzling smile Her real name was Krishna Sarin She was born on 13th July 1931 at Lahore. She came to film through a talent contest which she won giving her fits film Kali Ghata(1952). She starred in films Auraat, Shagufa, etc with her husband Prem Nath. She is famous for her superhit films with Pradeep Kumar. Some of her notable works are Anarkali(1953), Insaaniyat(1955), Ghunghat(1960), Taj Mahal(1963), etc. She won Filmfare Award for Best Actress for film Ghunghat. She died on 6th December 2009, due to cardiac arrest.
