Indian actress Amrita Rao was born on 7 th June, 1981 in Pune to parents Deepak and Kanchan Rao. She studied form Canossa Convent Girls School and Sophia College. Lesser known fact is that she is also a trained classical singer. Her debut film was Ab Ke Baras in 2002 as Anjali Thapar. She married RJ Anmol. She won Dadasaheb Phalke for the film Vivah as Poonam. Some of her best performances are Thakeray, Jolly LLB, Satyagraha, Main Hoon Naa etc. she won IIFA, GR8 women Award, Anandalok Award etc. She did several commercial ad films and appeared in a music video.
